KTM 640 LC4 Enduro
KTM's LC4 range includes three variations - a Supermoto-styled machine, an enduro spec competition bike and a Paris-Dakar replica desert racer. All three used the same single-cylinder four-stroke 609cc engine, but the latest versions use the uprated 625cc engine, confusingly called the 640 range. The Enduro follows a similar route to the firm's EXC range, with wire-spoked wheels wearing off-road tyres and a small Brembo front brake disc. The strong power delivery of the single-cylinder engine and the high-quality suspension and brakes is a devastating package in the hands of an experienced rider. A small fuel tank and constant vibration from the single-cylinder engine means the LC4 is rather impractical on the road.
